2020년 4월17일자 버전으로 업데이트 된 로더 튜토리얼 재공유합니다.
3세대 아이비브릿지 CPU에 DS3617xs를 넣을까 DS3615xs를 넣을까 고민중입니다.
DS3617xs는 성공하신분이 많이 없으신것 같아서 스펙을 많이 타나 싶기도 한데요. extra 드라이버만 최신것으로 잘 넣으면
DS3615xs와 별반차이 없이 잘 되는건지 모르겠습니다.

DS3617xs 는 0.11.2 test beta
DS3615xs 는 0.11 test beta 까지 extra 드라이버가 올라온것 같습니다.

* AMD Piledriver is suspected to be the minimum chip architecture to support the DS918+ DSM platform, but this is unverified.

전 3세대에 8코어이상필요해서 1.03b에 3617 쓰고있습니다
SAS에는 여전히 불안정한 부분이 보이는것 같습니다.
최대절전모드(HDD go into hibernate)는 아직까지 함부로 설정하면 안될것 같네요.
DS918+의 경우 RAID 깨지는 경우도 생기나 봅니다. 무섭네요...ㅜ.ㅜ

there seems to be a serious problem with 918+ and scsi/scs drivers, at least with mpt2sas/mpt3sas, not just with 6.2.2/6.2.3 it also happens with jun's original loader 1.04b and dsm 6.2.0 (23824), breaking raid sets after not properly waking up from hdd hibernation means potential data loss
i had a two disk raid1 set on a lsi 9211-8i and after disks spinning down only one came up and i saw some really worrying messages on the serial console, i was not able to log in to the system, not on the web gui, even not on the serial console, the whole system was in lock down and only switching off seemed to work

6.2.2.6.2.3 뿐만 아니라 적어도 mpt2sas/mpt3sas의 경우 918+및 scsi/scs 드라이버에 심각한 문제가 있는 것 같으며, 이는 jun의 원래 로더 1.04 b및 dsm6.2.0(23824)에서도 발생하며 hdd최대 절전 모드에서 제대로 깨어나지 않은 후에 RAID 세트를 파괴하며 잠재적인 데이터가 손실을 의미할 수 있음
2개의 디스크 raid1을 lsi9211-7에 설정했는데, 디스크가 회전하면서 하나만 나타나고 나서 직렬 콘솔에서 정말 걱정스러운 메시지를 봤어요. 웹 Gui, 심지어 시리얼 콘솔에서 조차도 시스템에 로그인할 수 없었고, 전체 시스템은 잠겨 있었고 스위치만 꺼져 있는 것 같았어요.
