pfsense 와 mikrotik 을 가상서버에 올려봤는데 저에게는 mikrotik이 더 나아 보입니다.
서버에 올려 사용하는 방법은 둘다 같다러구요.
pfsense 설치후 초기 셋팅을 택스트 모드로 해야 하며
mikrotik 초기설정없이 저에게 익숙한 winbox를 이용해서 gui 모드로 들어가 설정할수 있어 더 편했습니다.

미크로틱을 1U 서버에 올려서 서비스 하시는 것으로 알고 있습니다.
vm으로 해도 무난한 것 같아요.

전에 (약 2년전 ??) AMD 6276(ES)하나에 64GB 메모리에서 VM 올리고 미크로틱을 50개쯤 올려서
테스트 해본 적이 있습니다.

잘 돌아갔고요.

전 하드웨어 잠시 대여만 해드렸죠.
