요즘 S2466-4M 때문에 골머리를 썩고 있어서
다른 보드를 알아보고 있는데요,
MSI 들어가서 K7D Master-L 메뉴얼을 받아서 보는데
바이오스쪽에 BIOS ID of MP Capabilities 라는 옵션이 있는데요,
매뉴얼에는
This item is to specify the CPU\'s multiprocessor(MP) mode.
Select Enabled and the CPU will follow the AMD\'s application note.
Select Disabled to allow dual Athlon XPs to run in MP mode.
However, this item is hidden if only one processor is running.
(Note. The mainboard specification does not support dual Athlons
running in MP mode. Therefore, we do not recommend end users select Disabled)
이게 저 옵션을 Enabled 하면 CPU쪽 셋팅으로 따라가고 Disabled 하면
dual XP를 MP로 돌릴수 있다는 뜻인거 같은데요,
그러면 K7D 에서는 XP에서 L5를 안이어 줘도 듀얼로 사용가능하다는 뜻인가요?
